God protects and takes care of his people in amazing ways. He is powerful and good, and he always keeps his promises. One of the stories included is the ever-popular David and Goliath, but the other three are lesser-known and are likely to introduce children to new Bible stories. These include the wall of Jericho, King Nebuchadnezzar, and Queen Esther. These are a few of God’s ‘against all odds’ victories that are sure to inspire children and are a great introduction to the Bible. Each story is only a few pages long, making it perfect for short attention spans.
Trish Mahoney’s colorful and engaging illustrations are once again paired with Kennedy’s book. Her style is cute, kid-friendly, and always includes enough color and detail to hold the interest of young children.
